Hello, I am Véronique

I am Véronique, a psychologist with over 15 years’ experience treating children, adolescents, men and women dealing with a wide range of emotional and psychological issues. These issues include anxiety, depression, post-natal depression, stress, trauma recovery, relationship issues, neurodiversity, gender-related issues, living with a disability and substance abuse

Throughout my career I have also provided support with parenting and behavioural issues in young people. Working in various settings including country, multicultural cities, mining towns and overseas I have had the rewarding experience of working transculturally. With this experience, I have come to realise the adversity Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island, refugees and migrant families can face.

Fees:

With a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, the consultation fee in person or by telehealth is $220.00 per hour. The consultation will be subsidised (Medicare rebate of $98.95. The full amount will be charged and the Medicare rebate will be claimed on your behalf and deposited in the bank account you have nominated with Medicare.

My practice draws on mindfulness, acceptance commitment therapy, positive psychology, narrative therapy, dialectical behaviou therapy and cognitive behaviour therapy. I provide therapy for children, adolescents,men and women in the afternoon, after-hours weekdays. Drawing from my French heritage, I have a warm approach using humour and metaphors making patients feel comfortable. I believe that therapy is an Art and that the therapeutic environment is a privileged space where patients can safely express their deepest emotions. I am registered with Medicare as a General Psychologist. In my spare time, I enjoy my equine friends.
